Bill and Jean: About Jean

Jean grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her parents and brother still live there, where they own and operate an Accounting Firm. Jean visits as often as she can and is very glad they are only three hours away. Being a native of Philadelphia, Jean still loves all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. She grew up watching baseball with her father and still enjoys attending games with him today. She talks regularly to her parents and her brother. They are very close despite the distance. Her brother and his wife are currently trying to have a baby and Jean looks forward to adopting a baby so the cousins can be close in age. Extended family is very important to Jean. She has many aunts, uncles and cousins ready to welcome a new addition to the family.

Jean has been teaching elementary school for the past 12 years and recently got her Master's Degree. She loves teaching children and has a special place in her heart for students who need extra encouragment and support. She looks forward to having a child one day that she can encourage and support to be all he or she wants to be. Jean believes that children need to be comfortable with who they are and encouraged in the areas they display an interest for.

Jean has many friends that surround her with love and support. She has an extensive support network of people that are ready to welcome a child. If it truly takes a village to raise a child, there is truly a village ready to welcome one with open arms and loving hearts.
